AirPR Inc., a service that focuses on public-relations performance, has raised $4 million in Series A funding.
The funding round was led by Mohr Davidow Ventures with participation from Crosslink Capital, Correlation Ventures and angel investors.
The company said it will use the funding to hire software engineers and sales and marketing people.
The San Francisco-based company was founded in 2011 and launched its first product, Marketplace, in September 2012 to connect brands with a PR company. Its second product, Analyst, launched in October, and it uses analytics to track the return on investment for PR campaigns.
