March 1, 2012

SUNNYVALE, CA -- 03/01/12 -- IronKey, the leader in extended enterprise management, has been recognized with SC Magazine's 2012 Reader Trust Award as the company with the Best Fraud Prevention Solution, beating out much larger companies for the honor including CA, Entrust and Trustwave. The announcement was made on February 28, 2012 at the SC Awards Gala, held in conjunction with the annual RSA Conference in San Francisco.

The SC Magazine Reader Trust Voting Panel awarded IronKey the Best Fraud Prevention Solution for its Trusted Access that secures a bank customer's online banking transactions starting at their computer from attacks using malicious software like ZeuS, SpyEye, OddJob, and many others. Trusted Access combines a secure virtualized browser with an innovative cloud management service and Trusted Network. Winners were chosen by voters, who are SC Magazine Readers that are high-level IT security executives (CISOs, CIOs, VPs, etc.) working for organizations across various markets, including finance, health care, government, education and more.

"We are very proud to receive this recognition from SC Magazine and their panel of experts," said Arthur Wong, CEO of IronKey. "We solidified our leadership in online banking security in 2011 by combining multiple layers of security into a single solution and winning at least one new banking customer every week. Now we are taking our expertise into the enterprise sector, helping every enterprise secure access to public and private clouds."

IronKey's new Trusted Access Enterprise Service enables organizations to take advantage of two trends re-shaping IT -- Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and SaaS/cloud applications -- to dramatically reduce or eliminate enterprise issued endpoints and supporting infrastructure, operations and maintenance expenses.
