VirtuOz Appoints Financial Veteran Karen Camp as Chief Financial Officer
Camp to leverage extensive finance and operational expertise to manage company’s rapidly growing demand for intelligent virtual agents
EMERYVILLE, CA – May 24, 2011 – VirtuOz, Inc., the leading provider of intelligent virtual agents (IVAs) for online customer service, today announced that Karen Camp, a successful finance and operations executive with 25 years of experience, has been appointed chief financial officer (CFO). Camp is the latest addition to the seasoned management team that will help the company respond to increased demand for IVAs, which according to a recent Benchmark study is expected to grow 400 percent by 2014 within the eCommerce industry alone.

Prior to VirtuOz, Karen was the CFO for Dorado Corporation, a leading provider of SaaS enterprise lending solutions. During her tenure, she established operational and financial controls, built a first-class finance team, and helped build company revenue to $33 million. Karen has also held executive positions at Yodlee, Inc.; Internet Capital Group; Banyan Systems; and Chartwell Home Therapies, Inc.
An active woman executive, Karen is a member of the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs and Executives, and American Red Cross New England Blood Services. She holds an AB from Smith College and an MA from Middlebury College/leSorbonne.
